All workshops have been postponed due to the Covid 19.
In the meantime, we will be offering some online sessions.
Whilst these sessions do not form part of our training programme, they do provide an introduction and will be of interest to those wishing to understand more about intimacy work in TV, film, and theatre. If you would like to be informed about the next online sessions, please register your interest via the contact page.
Training & Accreditation as an Intimacy Coordinator
For those wishing to discover and explore working with the Intimacy on Set Guidelines, we offer a workshop aimed at directors, actors, and movement practitioners (see Level One, below).
For those wishing to become an accredited Intimacy Coordinator with Intimacy on Set, we have developed a full programme of training and continuous development, the first step of which is the Level One workshop.
Stage One
2 day Introductory weekend workshop exploring IoS guidelines. On successfully completing Stage One, participants are eligible to be considered for a place on Stage 2 to begin their training as an Intimacy Coordinator.
Applicants will be asked to submit a CV and a covering letter stating their experience of intimate scenes, what they wish to get out of the training and what they bring to the role of the Intimacy Coordinator. Successful applicants will be offered a place on Stage Two.
Stage Two
6 days beginner's course entails intensive Intimacy Coordinator training that covers teaching the guidelines, and Intimacy Coordination for theatre and film.
Stage Three
Participants are expected to engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for 6-12 months, implementing the knowledge and skills gained from Stage Two. Intimacy on Set will assess participants suitability for the Stage Four against their CPD experience through mentoring and ongoing guidance.
Stage Four
Successful Stage Three candidates will participate in an advanced course that builds on their practical experience, consolidating the training and implementation of Intimacy Coordination through to assessment. At the end of Stage Four assessment, successful participants will receive an Intimacy On Set Accreditation in Intimacy Coordination.
