Ian West
UK based Intimacy Practitioner with full accreditation for Intimacy Direction. Currently under mentorship and training with Intimacy On Set in Intimacy Coordination & Pedagogy.
Ian received his formal training at Doreen Bird College in London and has since worked in TV, film, and theatre for over 25 years as a choreographer, movement director, and educator. Ian pursued further education by completing a postgraduate program at the University of Aberdeen. Ian also finished his Part 1 and 2 Sag- Aftra Accredited training with intimacy on set (IOS) and has since worked continuously as an intimacy director/coordinator and educator.
As well as supporting feature films and National tours, Ian has also been busy supporting many other top educational facilities in the UK and has just been appointed as the Intimacy adviser for Birds Conservatory. Ian is a member of Equity and the BecTU intimacy branch.
