A series revealing the early years of iconic fictional detective Kurt Wallander as a rookie police officer in Malmö landing his first big break as a detective in the crime department. Witnessing a horrific attack on a teenager and overcome with guilt at not being able to prevent it, Wallander becomes obsessed with solving the crime and finding justice for the teen in death.
